Spy ware is a type of program that installs itself with out the knowledge of the computer owner and can to a certain degree take over certain functions of a user interaction.

OK so what does that mean?

It means that spy ware programs can take control of your computer and installed even nastier programs like Trojans and viruses.

-- How do you get spy ware?

Spy ware comes in all different sizes, you can get it from just clicking on a link on a web page or by hovering over web banner.

According to statistics 92% of computer users have some form of spyware on there computers and over 50% have no idea it's even on there systems.

How can I defend myself against spyware ?

Great question, I have used dozens of anti-spyware products and I have to say that I was very surprised to found out that a program called Spyware BOT is rated one of the highest, and in my opinion one of the best so far go head see for yourself, they have a 24/7 support line and can answer any question you have.
