Win with Lottery Number Gaps by :
S Potter
The 6 balls drawn from 49 were: 26,31,35,43,48,49. Lets look at the gap between the numbers. 26 to 31 = gap is 5 numbers If we examine almost any selection of 50 draws we find that about 20 draws had 4 numbers with a gap size between 1 and 5. Maybe 21 draws had 3 numbers of the 1-5 gap size. Perhaps 3 of the draws had 5 numbers with a 1-5 gap size. Only a single draw will have a 1-5 gap size. The next most common gap size encountered is 6-10, which appears about 50% less than the 1-5 group. There are also gap sizes of 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, 26-30, 31-35, but only rarely do we find gaps above this. So how do you use this information? Simple. Pick the area you think the 'cluster' will occur this week. If it was heavily low numbered last week, for example, you may want to try high numbers this week. Choose your first number using your usual method, and make it fairly low. You then pick a second number that is only a few digits away, as this is statistically where the likely grouping will be. Repeat for the other numbers. What you end up with, is a cluster of numbers, of course. What you now have to do is 'spread em out a bit' so you have a couple of 'outliers'. If you think this weeks draw will be clustered at the high end of the numbers, and your picks reflect that, drop one or two of them and replace with numbers from the other end of the spectrum. As detailed above, you can expect 3 or 4 numbers per draw to have a gap
