Aaron is a Singapore Ceramic Artist. He started dabbling with clay in 1986 and worked as a teaching assistant to Lim Meng Khuang for Ceramics Classes at St Patrick's Art Centre while he was still a full-time student completing his Diploma in Fine Arts at the College. He later received the prestigious EDB-Lasalle INTECH Grant in 1989 with the recommendation of the late Sculptor/ Artist Brother Joseph McNally, then Director of The College, to pursue his undergraduate studies at the School of Design, Staffordshire Polytechnic (now known as Staffordshire University) which is a highly regarded institution in the Ceramics industry in the United Kingdom. Upon graduation with B.A (Hons) in 1991 he returned to Singapore to head the Ceramics Department at the college. The school had then been renamed LaSalle-SIA College of The Arts. He facilitated the Ceramics Program from Foundation Studies right through to the Specialization levels where students majored in this field of study. He left LaSalle in 1996 in pursuit of his professional development as an artist, but continued to teach pottery classes part-time at various schools, including a stint where he taught the Ceramics Class as part-time lecturer at the NIE, Nanyang Technological University between 1997 and 2001. He helped integrate a Clay Art Program in Character Montessori's activities in 2006.

Aaron is the founder of Spark Ceramic Art Consultants Pte Ltd (SCAC), a registered education service provider which runs professional art programs in its studio, at schools and for corporate clients etc e.g. KidzClay for Character Montessori (ongoing since 2007), P5 and P6 Clay Art Program for Jurong Primary School (2007-2010), Pottery-making for School Art Clubs, Dragon Kiln Tours, School holiday programs. Established since 2007, he was the executive director until 2013. He trained artists for operations at SCAC and worked extensively with teachers at various levels to bring ceramic art to local schools.

He is presently engaged in his professional practice with commissioned orders and work on his exhibitions. He works from his art studio in Woodlands, Singapore.
