Glass noodle seafood salad is nice, with big fresh prawns!
Saw this just open at the new Plaza Singapura. The decoration is catchy. I'll try to eat there soon!
Now its located in Wheelock place, this restaurant is a perfect option if you are looking for a fine thai restaurant. can't wait to eat again here and try stir fried tiger prawn next time.
had lunch at bangkok jam - great world city this afternoon. chose this place because of the voucher we got from a bank..
Very unique and cool dining concept! They also serve good food! :)
Want to satisfy your thai cravings? Their seafood pat thai are amazing!
Went back for their mango sticky rice and it was so awesome! really resembled the mango sticky rice i enjoyed in Thailand! Love that their sticky rice was so well made and definitely was a bliss eating it! The mango was sweet and tangy as well! Add that with the coconut milk drizzled on top!! Heaven in a plate! So awesome! Will definitely come back for their food as soon as possible
Seriously a must try when visiting this restaurant! the soft yet crispy dough with the banana and the ice cream on top creates an explosion of flavors in your mouth! However, dont idle for too long as it is best eaten when it is being served! The batter for the tempura really made the banana crispy and lovely! Something like banana fritters, but even better! Love the ice cream as well!
Sinful but worth it!
Was at Great World City on christmas eve and most of the restaurants are quite packed on the first level so we went to bangkok jam once again since i have been here twice already.
Ordered the chicken pad thai and the portion was rather big but when the time that they served my food, it was only slightly warm. Ordered a bowl of tom yam soup too but i feel that the portion of it was rather small, but love the prawns in it. Big and juicy and really fresh prawns.
Service was also not bad especially the lady who was decked in black which i assume its the manager, she was very friendly and always smiling.
I\'m not a thai food fans,i came here with friend cause read review that the food was nice
so decided to come for a try
We had tom yum kway tiao soup which I found it a little too sweet
But i must say they were very generous with the ingredients though
insidefull of seafood & mushrooms.
chicken wing -they only serve the wing portion &to make it even easier to eat, they cut into half. It was served with dried chilli, cashew nuts & somefried garlic.
The food wasn’t as great as I expected though.but taste ok
overall irate 6/10
today marks the 2nd visit to bangkok jam for me. ordered tom yam soup, kang kong, thai-spiced wings, fish cakes! waited a while for the food to be served. First up was the thai-spiced wings, they were quite nice and crispy too. Next was the fish cakes, to me it was quite normal. I have had better ones elsewhere. Then the kangkong and tom yam soup came, I love the tom yam soup! it was served piping hot! the kangkong was a bit too spicy for me to handle though.
Overall i really enjoyed my dinner. The food was good, the pricing are reasonable. Would definitely be back again soon!
But one thing is that i hope that they can improved on their service. Sometimes it can be a bit hard to get their attention but maybe because it was during dinner time and that they are kind of busy.Spending: Approximately SGD 20(Dinner)
