| BHN Architecture was founded in 2005, and the practice works on residential, commercial and institutional projects, providing architectural, landscape, interior and furniture design services for both the public and private sectors. BHNA Pte Ltd was subsequently established in Dec 2008 so as to take over the disciplines of landscape, interior and furniture design, while BHN Architecture focuses on architectural work. Together, BHN Architecture and BHNA Pte Ltd are committed to providing building project designs that are integrated and cohesive, seamlessly flowing from the exterior to the interiors, and vice versa. |
From the outset, the practice is focused on approaching fundamental problems of planning, space, proportion, light, details and materials with fresh design thinking, always challenging traditional and conventional concepts of design in the process. Significant emphasis is placed on understanding the context and intended purpose of each commission, to thereon generate designs that are refreshing, relevant and empowering. The practice pursues clarity and appropriateness in its design solutions, whose expressions are simple yet sophisticated, subtle and yet layered. |
