Our
History
Our
specialist clinics in infectious diseases began operations more than 10
years ago starting initially at Gleneagles Medical Centre in 1999
before expanding to Mount Elizabeth Centre in 2000.
We have been involved in the care of patients with
complicated medical problems including severe sepsis, multiple-organ
failure related to sepsis and infectious in patients with cancer,
transplants and HIV. In particular, we work closely with other medical
specialists and surgeons in the management of patients with complicated
medical problems. Our specialists review inpatients at private
hospitals in Singapore including Gleneagles, Mount Alvernia, Mount
Elizabeth, Parkway East and Raffles.
Our specialist clinics serve as a one stop centre for the
investigation and treatment of a wide range of infections. We also
provide vaccinations and pre-travel advice.
Our patients include Singapore residents and
expatriates, as well those who come from overseas countries.
In addition to providing private care to our
patients at our clinics, our doctors continue to serve as visiting
consultants at public hospitals and contribute to teaching of the
advanced medical trainees.
Our Future
Our history has been one of providing reliable,
consistent and respectful to our patients. As we expand our services to
improve accessibility at other medical centres and hospitals, we
continue to strive towards clinical excellence for our patients.
