In June 2010, Naaman Skin and Laser
Centre in Singapore
began its service to provide skin specialist consultation, led by Dr. Khoo Boo Peng who
is a Consultant Dermatologist of at least 15 years' experience. Located in Novena Medical Centre, it provides specialist consultation
for general skin, hair and nail conditions. It has special
focuses on Pediatric
Dermatology and Cosmetic
Dermatology.
Naaman was the name of an Old Testament Syrian general that lived
around
850 B.C. He suffered from the dreaded leprosy but was miraculously
cured
by God through the prophet Elisha. It was described that his "flesh was
restored like the flesh of a little child". Similarly it is our prayer
that our patients would find a cure to their
skin problems. We hope
to achieve this by observing these principles:

that not all can easily afford medical fee. 5-10% discounts are
given to students and special provisions are made for hardship cases.
