I would like to thank Essence Education for guiding my P5 boy Matthew in his Chinese. Within half a year with Essence, my son has made great improvement from 50 plus marks for SA1 to 80 plus marks for SA2. Nanyang Primary School will be awarding him the best improved Chinese award for P5 during the prize presentation and they only select one student each level. A big thank you to his Essence teacher Mdm Shao!
"Mom, she is the best Chinese tutor I've ever had!" exclaimed my daughter after her first lesson with Wang Lao Shi of Essence Education Centre. I was surprised as Chinese was not her favorite subject at school. With time, I observed that each Chinese lesson was well structured and my child was carefully guided through each chapter. Wang Lao Shi guided my daughter very well and her relentless effort in ensuring that my daughter understood each topic well before proceeding to the next was commendable. Wang Lao Shi also constantly encouraged my daughter to speak out during Chinese lesson and not to fear about giving the wrong responses. This has certainly motivated my daughter even more. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank Wang Lao Shi for her patience and dedicated teachings which were instrumental in cultivating my daughter's love for learning the Chinese language.
Xu Laoshi is an extremely patient and caring teacher. She teaches with a passion and has a technique in ensuring my child understands the topic and the key concepts. More importantly she is able to keep the child interested and motivated in keeping up with the work. We are extremely grateful for having her tutor Nicole in a subject that we believe she will excel in.
Dear Ms Zhou, please help me to thank Gao Laoshi for his fantastic job! Within four lessons before Sachin's SA2, Gao Laoshi helped my son pass his P5 SA2 Chinese. He scored 123/200, thanks to Gao Laoshi, first time even Sachin score better in Booklet A. Gao Laoshi really can inspire him to persevere and read. I am gald I called for your help! I will drop in to thank Gao Laoshi and you one of these days, our mandarin learning journey has always been fun with you, ESP you. Dear Zhou Lao Shi, thank you so much for all your help with my daughter's oral exams and Chinese - the results are out and she scored full marks for oral (both self introduction and conversation). I have been under Ms Zhou for the past 3 years and my results have been improved from C5 to A1. The lively discussions on news articles and current affairs guided by Ms Zhou greatly improved my argumentative essay writing skills. Ms Zhou has taught me to learn beyond my textbooks and made me achieve A1 for my O-level Higher Chinese which I never imagined possible.
Essence Education Centre has provided with me with a very conducive learning environment. My experience there has been a fun and enjoyable one. Ms Zhou is helpful, knowledgeable or most importantly, passionate in teaching. About Ms Zhou, I must say she surpassed my expectations. She makes it a point to go far beyond what is expected, teaching more than the usual contents that one expect from tutors from other agencies. Apart from being friendly, Ms Zhou certainly has a kind heart and her care and concern no doubt shines through. Her patience in teaching and her willingness to adapt to the pace of each student is another of her fundamental characteristic, and one that leaves an indelible impression on those fortunate enough to be tutored by her.
