All load banks are rated for continuous use in ambient conditions up to 35°C, with tropicalised versions available for use in locations with higher temperatures. Our load banks feature space-saving layouts and small installation footprints to support typical site constraints in the marine and offshore industry.
2) Resistive Loadbanks
Crestchic AP offers a variety of resistive load banks tailor to meet each customer specific applications.
- Available in 200kW, 600kW, 1MW and 5MW units that can be linked to match your requirements.
- 1kW load step and intelligent paralleling of loadbanks.
- Loadbanks are designed to operate in 3 phases at power factor 1.0 at 50 or 60Hz. Single phase options are also available.
- Microprocessor (PC Windows-based Eclipse) or push-button (KCS) control systems.
- Our small frame loadbanks are castor-mounted for easy manoeuvrability on site
2) Reactive LoadBanks
Crestchic AP offers a standard range of reactive load banks to meet customer applications.
- Available in 825kVA, 1000kVA, 1650kVA, 3.3MVA and 6MVA as standard 3 phase units.
- 1kW load step and intelligent paralleling of loadbanks.
- Loadbanks are designed to operate in 3 phases at 0.8 lagging power factor at 50 or 60Hz.
- Microprocessor (PC Windows-based Eclipse) or push-button (KCS) control systems
- All units housed in ISO type containers for protection, ease of transportation and shipping.
Special units of any rating can be manufactured to suit other supply voltages. Low and high voltages, frequencies and power factors can be accommodated.
3) Crestchic DC LoadBanks
DC loadbanks are specifically designed to provide a load for the controlled discharge of batteries. The standard range starts at a nominal 24V / 100A up to 440V / 450A, with a wide range of intermediate voltages and currents. Dual and multiple voltage is available on some units.
