ἀγάπη—Our Core
In Greek, the word ἀγάπη refers to illimitable love of the highest order. This, is our core and it has been our sole and exclusive resolution with this aptitude to be a great instrument of learning where all who we lead will achieve. Because it is illimitable and because it is love, we have been successful as an authentic engine of culture and naturally—education. We do this through languages because we bridge mind to heart to soul.

Go ἀγάπη

Here, we are using ἀγάπη in the sense of a verb (an act) to define our pedagogy. When we take the approach to an individual’s needs for learning, we have proven to get the best results with the highest efficiency and that is why we refer to this process as ‘go ἀγάπη’. We cut no corners and have no tricks and the results match to the end of each individual’s unique requirements. Most importantly, our methods stick, which means learners coming through us acquire positive and new dimensions and lend them more whole than before.

Specialisms through ἀγάπη

Expanding on go ἀγάπη (already a specialism in itself), another specialism we possess is real-world local and business knowledge which is enhanced with a live network of qualified individuals. Whilst we are successful with the individual acquiring a language for travel, work and studies, we have success as well helping larger numbers such as businesses and organisations with their development interests. Our network not only provides incisive and present-moment information on business and local culture, they are available to serve as a real-time guide in person to make the entire experience seamless. (Kindly refer below to List of Corporate Learning Successes to see who we have coached.)

Adjusting ἀγάπη—Novel development

We began in 2006 and back then, it was our rule and common sense to engage only natives for our pedagogy infrastructure. This has changed now as we find authenticity and effectiveness in new developments; we are now including non-natives in our mix. Our pedagogy remains authentic but we discover that non-natives add to the riches of our learners’ experience. The availability of a non-native presents another aspect of our pedagogy inspired by how these individuals learn through their adaptation from mother tongue to foreign tongue out of necessity. Whilst we retain natives in our formula, we enjoy a fuller technique with these successful adapters and they serve as great models to learners sharing the same ethnicity. To give an example, we have as non-natives serving in the instance of French language educators: Vietnamese-French, Indian-French, Arabic-French, Chinese-French and African-French to list a few. It is undeniable that this trend is on the upward climb as the globe experiences more cultural exchange through population movements and we know for a fact now that learning can be even more efficient when an ethnicity is shared in the process of learning something unfamiliar.

ἀγάπη Success
While we have lighted on our approach and specialism, we must define what success is for us as a great instrument of learning. For anyone acquiring new knowledge, the act has many motivations. Because we have defined our resolve, engaging us must be a rewarding experience. Our learners must come away with greater holisticness about themselves. Like we have established in our core definition, we bridge mind to heart to soul. While we function to teach languages, we also function to enhance holistically. This is ἀγάπη success, and all this achieved without doctus cum libro (dead learning).
