About Us
Hong Xi Li Hainanese Chicken was named after the major Hawker renovation at 2010. Hong Xi Li formerly know as Heng Lee Hup Kee was one of the first pioneer batch of hawkers that still running their business Since 1980. Not only we serve delicious and fresh food for regular customers throughout the decade in Clementi, we do also have facebook and emails account to bring customers closer to us from all walks of life.
Our Founder
Our Founder, Mr Ng is an easy going and cheerful person. Many residents living in Clementi know him as he is a humble person with his white thin t-shirt, white shorts and white apron with fisherman boots on. He likes people to address him as “Ah Pui”. But During work he is very strict to his disciples and fellow workers to maintain the original taste of authentic Hainanese Chicken Rice. Mr Ng decided to retire after the major renovation and hand over the business to his son Mr Eugene Ng. Nevertheless, Mr Ng was retired, he love to keep himself busy he goes down to shop and chit chat with customers daily. Never he forgetting to “nag nag” all staffs ensure everything doing well. Mr Ng, a great father and great mentor.
