The team of stylists at Salon B offers a diverse range of skills and expertise. Hailing mainly from Korea and other parts of Asia, our stylists deliver hairstyles and treatments that are catered to Asian hair. Under the direction of Creative Director Sunny Lee, the team has collaborated with brands like Wella, L’Oreal, Vivienne Westwood (Singapore) and Samantha Thavasa (Singapore). Sunny Lee – Creative Director Korean native Sunny Lee has over 20 years of experience in the industry and has worked with clients such as Korean celebrity BoA, Kpop girl group 2NE1 and Kpop boy band Big Bang. Although she is known for her edgy style and fashion-forward cuts, Sunny is also experienced in a wide range of cut and colouring techniques. Throughout her career, she has successfully completed various training courses at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in the United Kingdom. As the Creative Director, Sunny also trains the team of stylists on Salon B. Rina Kil – Director Rina is experienced in volume rebonding and digital perm techniques. In 2004, she took part in the Korea Hair Collection in Seoul, an annual exhibition of the best hair creations. She has also worked with various Asian celebrities, including actor Korean Lee Jin Wook, ZA (Lim Si Whan, Park Hyung Sik) and Japanese model Akira and supermodel Kim Ja Yeon. Jisoo Kim – Art Director As the Art Director at Salon B, Jisoo specializes in creative cuts and colours. In 2012, she was awarded the Wella Trend Vision Silver Award and continues to strive towards creating hairstyles that are unique but wearable. She has worked on shoots with publications like ELLE (Singapore) and Female, and assists Sunny in training the growing team of stylists at Salon B. Louie Ahn – Director Louie was a finalist in the Wella Trend Vision Awards and continues to hone his skills through various shows and seminars. He specialises in creating hairstyles and colours which are trendy but easy to maintain as well. Oscar Lee – Senior Stylist Senior Stylist Oscar has close to four years of experience in the industry, and his specialties lie in creative colouring and haircuts for men. |
