BAJA FRESH MEXICAN GRILL OPENS NEW OUTLET AT MARINA BAY SANDS

Baja Fresh Mexican Grill, the fast-casual fresh Mexican chain is expanding across Singapore and has opened its new outlet today at Rasapura Masters at Marina Bay Sands (2 Bayfront Avenue, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands (Canal level), Singapore 018972).

The new outlet will follow the format similar to Baja Fresh Express in the USA and offers flavorful and fresh Mexican food in an express format perfect for busy employees, quick diners, and guests looking for casual and quick dining. The store will adhere to and be committed to Baja Fresh’s global trend to spread a culture of EAT WELL LIVE FRESH

At Baja Fresh Mexican Grill Express, guests will have the opportunity to customize their burritos, tacos, salads, fajitas, nachos and quesadillas exactly how they want it. People will stand across the counter and build their own Baja Fresh favorite by telling the Baja Fresh staff to put in their choice of meat, veggies, salsas, beans, cheese, sour cream, guacamole inside their burritos, tacos and salads.

This is the second Baja Fresh outlet in Asia following the overwhelming success of Baja Fresh’s first Asian outlet at Rendezvous Gallery (9 Bras Basah Road). The new location is owned and operated by Gloria Foods Pte Ltd who are the master franchisor for Baja Fresh in Singapore and also operates the Baja Fresh Mexican Grill restaurant at Rendezvous Gallery.

When asked why Rasapura and Marina Bay Sands, Ms Jaya Kanoria, the other operating Director of Gloria Foods said “Marina Bay Sands is a hub for international travelers who come to Singapore. Hence it’s most fitting that a global brand like ours has a presence here. And Rasapura is currently a very Asian cuisine dominated food court. Hence having Baja Fresh there would add to the variety that Rasapura has to offer to the patrons dining there”

Talking more about Rasapura, Mr Anant Hada said, “Being an express outlet we have kept the pricing of our food lower than what it is at Rendezvous Gallery. We will not be serving food to the customers here, hence its fair that the pricing is reduced. Currently Baja Fresh Express will be one of the most competitively priced western dining alternatives at Marina Bay Sands. Western food at Marina Bay Sands is currently priced between $30 - $100 / person on an average, while we will be coming out at S$9 – 15 per person. We will focus primarily on being a quick, casual and reasonably priced dining alternative in Marina Bay Sands.”
