Concept shops is characteristically a specialized retail outlets that distributing branded or distingusihed products or services. It incorporates the architecture, interiors, lightings, graphic, landscape within the showroom, including display windor, display cases, and physical embodiment of the brand, etc. 


A display window is displaying items for sale of the products or services to attract customers to the store. It is located in the front facade of shop that spotlight are commonly used for enhancing the aesthetic look of the display items and background designs. Usually, 720 recessed spotlights, J700 track lights are adopted to illuminate the objects from the ceiling of display window. Some designers may also recommend D2538A linear lights placing on the edges of display window to create the harmony background of the display items.


Luminaires for concept shops are varied mostly using adjustable recessed spotlight of either circular or rectangular trim. Interior and lighting designers used to recommend 720 circular recessed spotlights or R080 rectangular recessed spotlights for general illumination purposes. These two series of LED luminaires are suggested as alternative to the traditional halogen spotlights not only serve the purposes of power saving, but also significantly reducing the temperature of shop premises. Both of the luminaires are providing adjustable housing that could be casting towards the display objects from the ceiling. However, 510T recessed tilting spotlight is another alternative that the light source could be extruded for specific casting direction towards the objects.

Showcases is an open shelves for displaying shoes, handbags and leather goods, etc. with adequate illumination to enhancing the images of the products. Usually, D2538A linear lights could be hidden behind or underneath the shelf panel to created a harmony background of the display objects. Whereas, vitrine is a display cabinet with one or more sides of transparent glasses or acrylic surfaces. The common lighting design practice is using 2.5" or 3.0" 720 circular recessed spotlights, which could be installed on the inner top of the cabinet casting downward to illuminate the objects display on the glass shelves.
