Perimeter lightings may be regarded as security lighting or roadway lighting in term of its applications. It could be installed along the driving route and perimenter zoning of the building, pedestrain pavement, open-surface carpark as well as rural roadwaly. 

30W L490 LED perimeter lighting were deployed for replacement of 75W metal halide street light in the perimeter zone of a housing estate that adjoining to an open-surface carpark. The LED luminaires were installed onto a 3 meter high lamp pole with 12 meters contour. Picture on right exhibited the photopic on floor level were adequately sufficient for prevention of thieves and reducing the risk of wrong justment while parking.

In the case of water catchment plant, 45W model of L490 were deployed for replacement of 120W metal halide street light for roadway. The LED luminaires were installed on the 8 meter high lamp pole of 25 meter contour. The mandatory specifications requires the illuminance on ground should maintain at an average level of not less than 10 lux (Eav) with color rendering index of 70 (CRI). Performance of the luminaires were proven after installation and conformed with the results of light calculation.
