Our Curriculum is developed based on the following guide: Toddlers & Nursery 1 Curriculum Children in this age group are active, curious and inquisitive. They learn through exploration and multi-sensory stimulation.The Toddler & Nursery 1 curriculum emphasize on children’s language and communication skills, cognitive skills, creative expression, sensory and motor skills, and personal and social development. The programme concentrate on learning of skills, concepts and content through play situations where children engage in active social interactions. Their learning are facilitated through the following programme:
Routines and transition are important part of the learning process in developing autonomy and self-help skills. Nursery 2 Curriculum Children in this age group have a very strong and natural quest for knowledge. The Nursery 2 curriculum emphasizes and reinforces children’s increasing competencies in using language for phonics, reading, numeracy skills and concepts learning. Children will engage in pre-writing and writing experiences as well as other challenges in physical pursuits. The programme continue to focus on personal and social development. Children will become more independent, have greater confidence with their self-help skills and emotional control.The programme incorporate more structured and integrated learning through multiple intelligences. The expectations for life skills, positive attitudes and academic achievements will be assured through the following curriculum activities:
Kindergarten 1 & Kindergarten 2 Curriculum Children at this age have acquired confidence in expressing and presenting their ideas, knowledge and thoughts. There have also developed social competence, confidence and emotional maturity. Together with the considerable progress and advancement in language and numearcy skills, children are capable of working collaboratively in projects. Among peers interactions, they are actively engaged in meaningful exploration of ideas and concepts, critical and creative thinking and problem solving.Children’s understanding of mathematical processes and concepts are also further enhanced through concrete experiences. Science processes are also discussed through experiments as well as technology and computers tools. Children who graduated from the K2 programme will become independent individuals, confident communicators, and effective thinkers.Our Kindergarten Curriculum meets expectations and equips children with the life skills and attitudes for school and life successes and academic achievements through the following programme:
