The Basic Building Materials division operates a fully automated cement silo in Singapore, importing cement and distributing cement for the local market. It also operates a granite quarry in Malaysia which supplies aggregates to the Singapore market. As a vertical integration, it is the largest supplier of ready-mixed concrete for the Singapore market. The Shipping division owns and operates a fleet of coastal vessels specialised in bulk cargo transportation in Southeast Asia and a container vessel. The division also provides ship management and agency services. PUC is the developer, major owner and operator of Changshu Xinghua Port, one of the fastest growing river ports in China strategically situated along the southern bank of Yangtze River Delta in Jiangsu Province. Its handling capacity is 10.0m tonnes per annum. |
