Roles and Functions

Tanglin Police Division Headquarters and its 5 Neighbourhood Police Centres (NPCs) strive to deliver a safe and secure environment to its community . Its regular officers, Police National Service Full-time (PNSF), Police National Service Men (PNSmen), Voluntary Special Constables (VSC), together with the support and assistance of the community have contributed to a low crime rate and excellent performance. Despite the increased workload brought about by recent security threats, Tanglin Police Division clinched the 3rd position in 2001 and 2nd position in 2002 in the Best Land Division Competition.
