Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Led Class
The Ashtanga Vinyasa style of yoga was popularised by Guru Sri K. Pattabhi Jois who dedicated his entire life to developing these unique sequences. The Ashtanga method stresses the daily practice of a series of postures linked by a 'flowing' sequence of movements called vinyasa. The Ashtanga practice also uses a special form of breath called ujjayi , and trains the use of drishti, or gaze as well as certain 'locks' also known as bandhas.
