PRIMARY 1 TO PRIMARY 6 MATHEMATICS
(Follows the latest syllabus as stipulated by the Ministry of Education)
Teacher Student Ratio of 1:8

Primary 1 to Primary 2 (Numbers 123!)
  • Develop an interest in Mathematics as our students discover how Mathematics is used in our daily lives. Teachers will use innovative and creative methods to instil the love for mathematics in our students.
  • Building up on numeracy, mathematical and creative thinking skills to prepare our students for the later part of their education.
  • A good and strong foundation is essential in aiding the student's progression into his later part of primary school education.

Primary 3 to Primary 4 (Number Builders)
  • Greater emphasis on heuristics and thinking skills to solve problem based questions.
  • Reinforcing our students concept learnt at the foundation years and further development of their mathematical skills through teaching and practice.
  • Creative teaching to further develop student's interest in Mathematics.

Primary 5 to Primary 6 (Beyond Numbers)

  • This is the crucial period before the yearly Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) for the primary 6 students.
  • Identifying various mathematical questions and learning how to apply the right techniques to these questions.
  • Students will also be introduced to advanced mathematics questions which will reinforce their concepts learnt at different levels.

PRIMARY 5 AND PRIMARY 6 FOUNDATION MATHEMATICS
(Follows the latest syllabus as stipulated by the Ministry of Education)
Teacher Student Ratio of 1:3

  • This is to cater to students who are weaker in Mathematics therefore the maximum students in a foundation class is 3.
  • Students taking foundation mathematics often face the problem of comprehending questions hence leading to their inability to apply the right technique to solve questions.
  • Our Centre will assess the student's weakness and his/her ability in comprehending mathematical questions.
  • Greater emphasis will then be given to strengthen their weaker mathematical areas before learning how to identify questions and application of the right technique.
  • Students will also be introduced to various mathematics questions which will aid them in their final examinations.

Besides teaching our students the theories of science, our centre also uses hands-on science experiments to enhance the learning capability of our students.

E.g. "make-your-own-rainbow":
  • Create your own rainbow by using a clear glass filled with water.
  • Place it on top of a piece of white paper and place the whole set-up near a bright area.
  • You will see a rainbow formed on the white paper.
  • This experiment will be carried out during the science topic, light.
