We only use virgin grade raw materials from reputable companies such as The Polyolefin Company (Singapore), ExxonMobil Chemical Singapore, etc to manufacture our products. All products are produced in house with the strictest control over quality and precision. We also have a fleet of transport vehicles for the local market to meet our customer’s stringent delivery schedules.
At Nippon Plastic, our food packaging products comply with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s food addictive regulation at 21 CFR 177.1520(c), paragraph 2.2, under Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and comply with the requirements for use in contact with food of European Commission Regulation (EU) No 10/2011. Additionally, all our raw materials used for production comply with RoHS directive, also known as the EU Directive 2002/95/EC.

Stretch hood - Stretch hood films utilize technologies that enable the films to be stretched over a full pallet with capabilities to snap back for an optimal fit. The advantages are that your products will have outstanding stability, protection during transportation and improved packaging efficiency. Applications include: bricks, stones, shingles, bagged concrete and bagged resin. Appliance packaging using stretch hood films is fast becoming popular in recent years.
Shrink Hood - Shrink hood films are a cost effective alternative to stretch hood films. While the application of heat is required to shrink the film, a variety of shrinking properties can be formulated to suit your individual needs. These films are designed for applications where transportation, protection and containment are paramount. These shrink hood films also have the advantage of portraying tamper evidence from pilfering compared to traditional film wraps.
Pallet Cover - As the name implies, pallet covers are used to protect palleted goods from dust, rain, damage and is impervious to rot and mildew. They are custom made to your specified sizes and can be simply placed over your products snugly. Pallet covers are prefect for storage. We can also produce pallet covers which are capable of shrinking upon the application of heat. These shrink covers provide additional stability and security during transport.
Multi-Layer Barrier Film / Bags - Barrier films are plastic packaging films which restrict the passage of gas, and/or vapour, and/or aroma. These films can be multi-layered, with each layer serving different functions, or mono-layer with specific barrier properties.
We can manufacture a variety of barrier films and bags to suit your requirements providing cost savings.
Builder Rolls - Builder rolls are rolls that can be opened up to large size sheets and are mainly used for construction and other industrial work. This versatile plastic is commonly used to protect large areas.
Low Density Polyethylene and High Density Polyethylene Bags & Films - These products are used in a variety of packaging methods. Nippon Plastic produces these bags specifically for each customer, commonly with printed logos for promoting brand awareness.
Anti-Static Tubings and Bags - These bags reduce or eliminate build up of static electricity generally caused by the triboelectric effect. These bags are used for packing components which are prone to damage caused by electrostatic discharge. Its role is to make the surface or the material itself slightly conductive, either by being conductive itself, or by absorbing moisture from the air. Please note that antistatic properties are subject to deterioration with time and wear.
Amide / Silicon Oil Free Tubings and Bags - Amide/Silicon Oil free PE bags and rolls are generally low density polyethylene PE, free from additive of amide, DOP and silicon oil. These are good for packing metal parts, components or casting without contamination.
Shrink films - Shrink films are applied loosely over items and shrinks tightly with heat. Heat is normally applied with a hand held heat gun.
Stretch Films - Stretch wrap or stretch films are highly elastic and are used to wrap items. The elastic recovery keeps items tightly bound.
Static Shielding Bags / Moisture Barrier Bags - These bags protect against static charge and moisture from both inside and outside with three layers of anti-static protection. These bags consist of a conductive aluminum shield layer buried between 2 static dissipative polymeric plastic layers.
Zip Lock Bags - High reusability rate with cost saving advantages. These bags are airtight and are commonly used for general purpose.
