About Us
Derwish opened its door to customers last july 17, 2011. Located in kampong glam, heart of arab st area, derwish is a great choice if youre looking for a delicious, authentic turkish cuisine at its best.

Derwish features freshly made salads and dips like Meze, a platter of salads and served with freshly made lavash bread. A must try, mixed kebab, the house best seller where you can experience a real turkish specialities. To quench your thirst, try the freshly made turkish tea's ( apple, mint, lemon ) and the homemade lemonade. Dont forget to have your turkish ayran. A traditional turkish yogurt drink to complete your meal.

A thick dip spread made from Herb, garlic and strained yogurt, which is called 'Suzme' in Turkish $7.50
Cacik
A seasoned yogurt with crushed garlic, chopped cucumber and mint, served cold in small bowls. Cacik is a significant dish during the Ottoman period. $7.50
Coban Salata
Salad of the Turkish shepherds. A combination of chopped tomatoes, cucumber, assorted reens, onions and refreshing dressing of fresh lemon jusic and extra virgin olive oil. Especially popular in summer $8.50
Hummus
Middle Eastern chickpeas and sesame seed 'tahini' drizzled with extra virgin olive oil, lemon and a touch of garlic. $7.50
Babagannus
A favorite meze from Southeastern Anatolia. Eggplant, capsicum and crushed red peppers cooked with butter and mixed with a touch of garlic with homemade yogurt. $7.50
