Always long queue, normally need to wait about 20 to 30 mins, but their eggs fried rice and xiao long bao is a must try! Worth to wait !
Xiao Long Bao> Juciy! Love it how the skin is not too thin nor too thick, and the soup is always warm and salty~!
Din Tai Fung
Fried Rice with Shrimps & Eggs
An extremely popular dish, the ingredients are pared down to simple rice, shrimps, eggs, and spring onions, creating a taste of familiar comfort. Each plate is of a certain weight and minimal seasoning is used so that the natural fragrance of the eggs and spring onions shines through.
We went into this outlet in Tampines Mall as it was not crowded unlike those fast food outlets, although it was already passed lunch hour. Wanted something quick and easy to eat so I ordered their noodle soup with fried pork chop. My noodles was served quite promptly. The soup was quite tasteless although you can taste a hint of sweetness. But I can say that there was no msg, something healthy. The noodles were soft and easy to bite through. The best part will be the fried pork chop. Nicely fried and not dry. The meat was well marinated.

Went to Din Tai Fung for lunch and ordered their speciality fried rice and xiao long bao. The fried rice with egg was nicely fried and got the chinese saying " Wok Hei" when we tried it. Portion was enough to be shared by two or three people. Their fried rice is a must try and you will know what "Wok Hei" im talking about...
Next is the must try is their xiao long bao, which is very famous for their thin skin wrapped with meat and nice tasty stock in the bao. Best eaten with ginger and vinegar to bring out the flavours of the xiao long bao. Don't ever miss to order it when you are dining in Din Tai Fung.

I never thought that Din Tai Fung could be described as value for money till this meal.
We had a big bowl of sour spicy soup, a xiao cai (appetizer), 10pc xiaolongbao, 6pc yam bun, a prawn fried rice, a pork chop fried rice, and the total bill was less than $12/head inclusive of chinese tea (4 pax)! And we even have left-over.
Xiaolongbao was as usual, up to standard but not impressive. yam bun was a good dessert choice. Surprisingly sour spicy soup was not too spicy, it used black pepper instead of chilli, nice~ I like the xiaocai very much too, appetizing~ Fried rice are both good, not too salty (last time they were very salty).
Service was good, all very courteous & attentive. No complain good girl friends ;)
