Well, here are ten simple things that I would suggest to make your home an even more sweet place to be.

1. Get A Fireplace-Now, there are many ways in which you can get a fireplace, from inexpensive ways to expensive ways. But a Fireplace does really give you something to look forward to when your away, and is a great place to unwind.

2. Change the setting of the furniture once in a while- Change is wonderful at times, by changing the position of your furniture, you don't get stuck to the same outlook.

3. Lights- Get all kinds of lights for your place, if you're really hell bent about saving money, get the good old candles, or use the lights for special occasions.

4. Carpets- You can add carpets to the floor, it gives a whole new look and feel to your nest.

5. Gardening- If you've a garden, then good. If you don't have enough room for it, then get potted plants and spread them around.

6. Get Paintings or Paste Wallpapers- If you've the moolah, go for the original, or go for the replicas and hang them around. Or paste wallpapers that would be different too.

7. Add a Surround System- There is nothing like music playing in the background, so get a surround system, so that for any special occasion, you can have music playing for you.

8. Paint- Yes, change the Paint! And don't just use any type, or the same old boring colors, get your children involved, and have different colors for different rooms.

9. Take care of all the bugs- Its time to do it, and there is no point in extending it. Fix all the small issues that you have at home, like, you know, the lights that don't work, the pipe that always works and so on.

10. Be Mad - Get enhancements that would enhance your home. Add ons like- a a wierd piece of furniture, an aquarium, a pet, and so on.

In the end, nothing can beat just being happy with your family, so be patient and forgiving and any place becomes heaven!
