10 Things You Didnt Know
Everybody knows Amadeus Mozart, the world's most famous child piano prodigy. He was a composer, pianist, and performer - a total musician. He was born in Salzburg, Austria but nobody really knows where he is buried. For a famous persona, it is quite odd that everybody would know him and his music but not where he was buried.

Even his real name is not that popular. People know him as Amadeus but few knew he was born Johan Chrysostom Wolfgang Theophilus Mozart. And that his father called him Woferl.

As a child, Mozart was very popular. That was of course, he was doing things unusual for little children. While everyone else was having fun playing, Mozart was already composing, performing and touring for concerts. His father was always behind him.

Some really amazing stories about Mozart included about him hearing the "oink" of a pig and he recognized as G-sharp. When somebody duplicated the tune on a piano, it was indeed G-sharp. And he was only two years old at the time!

He also kept interfering with his sister's piano lessons at the age of three and that was when his father knew he wanted lessons too. But it wasn't until he was four years old when he finally got formal lessons. But at that time, he could already learn a minuet within thirty minutes! Who wouldn't be amazed?

The child prodigy was on the roll! At the age of six, while performing, nobody knows but he must have found his audience getting bored that he thought of performing a trick. He had the entire keyboard covered with a cloth so he could not see the keys and still played music perfectly. He was still indeed a child having fun at that time.

Mozart had penchant for fun and jokes. He once composed a piano piece that required the player to use not only both hands but the nose as well to hit all the correct notes. History wrote that he was not as successful as a grown up compared to being a child prodigy. As he grew older, less people took notice of him and fewer people came to his performances. But he was a brilliant musician. It was that told he suffered many disappointments and hardships. He didn't even have a stable job when he got married and that he died really poor. Still his music bore humor and cheerfulness and vigor. His music spoke of life, love and laughter. It must have been his view of life despite the disappointments and tragedies.

All in all, Mozart didn't only leave great music but a great lesson too: that no matter how difficult life is, there is always room for smiles, laughter and fun.
