Pay per lead programs can be extremely lucrative when you are dealing in industries such as real estate, for example, that pay a very high dollar amount for you to supply leads to.

3. Finally let's talk about pay per sale. With this form of affiliate marketing you earn a commission every time a person buys a product from your affiliate website address. This requires a customer to actually open up their credit card and buy something.

For this reason, you will have a lower percentage of people who convert to a sale, but you will also earn more than you will and the other two forms of affiliate marketing commissions.
