Despite again and again being overlooked in favour of Manchester, Leeds is a thriving Northern borough. It has a population of almost 450 000 and attracts plenty of venture travellers, too.Thanks to its numerous sites of importance, Leeds is also a popular tourist location.



Leeds has some breathtaking architecture, including the divine Corn Exchange that was created by Cuthbert Brodrick in 1864. This stunning building is now an alternative shopping middle and it is grade I listed.In addition to its marvelous domiciles, Leeds also has some stunning green spaces and stupendous locations of curiosity and onsequential stages.

Leeds has a fantastic shopping middle, which has a store to suit any budget. Indeed, you will spot high end shops in the city's Victoria Quarter, including branches of Harvey Nichols, Flannels and other designer stores.In the Headrow centre, you will pinpoint cheaper high street stores these as Primark, Top Shop and Miss Selfridge.

It goes without saying that Leeds has a humongous gay community, too. You will locate some prestigious gay bars dotted around the Calls area, including the legendary New Penny.After the clubs close, why not head to one of the metropolitan area's luxury hotels for a famous sleep? There are some excellent hotels in the city, including the Leeds hilton, so you will be spoiled for choice. The supreme thing is, if you pick a hotel with a free breakfast included - you will be able to eat away your hangover, too.
