After all, as the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.

Onions can help you if you have otitis – chop an onion and put it in a cloth; press the onions and put this cataplasm on the ear for about 2-3 hours; do not drop onion juice in the ear!
If you have liver diseases, use gentian root – eat ½ teaspoonfuls 3-4 times a day for 6-12 weeks;
Use savory for rheumatism – apply hot cataplasms with savory on the aching joints.
Valerian roots can make you sleep tight and treat insomnia – mix 10 spoonfuls of valerian (collected in September) with 400 ml of edible alcohol (70°) in a basin; close it tightly and leave it to macerate for about 2 weeks; filter the liquid and put this tincture in small dark colored bottles. Take 1-2 teaspoonfuls of this liquid, 10 minutes before going to bed, diluted with ½ glass of water for 12 days. After that take a 4-day break.
