The historic villages, stunning coastline and the lovelymountainous countryside of the Basque Country are bound to haunt you long afteryour trip.



There are many charming sights along theway as well as places to shop and stop and stay for the night. From Bilbaodrive to Lezama, situated in the Ayala Valley, 30 minutes from Bilbao city,from where you can visit Bilbao, the medieval city of Vitoria, historicalvillages like Artzeniega and Quejana or go walking in the countryside.

Drive North East to the Urola Coast. Aia isa small typical village set on a beautiful hillside, not far from the town ofZarautz, where the longest beach in the can befound. From here you can explore the nearby fishing towns of Getaria andZumaia, the beautiful city of San Sebastian, the Txingudi Bay and the medievaltown of Hondarribia.

Drive south to the Rioja Region to stay inthis lovely medieval village of Laguardia. Arrange a visit to the localwineries and visit the nearby towns of Haro, Labastida, Logro'o,  or the spa at Arnedillo. Play golf at acourse designed by Severiano Ballesteros or explore the dinosaur trails inEnciso. This lovely area offers a wealth of entertainment.
