Wii Fit also known as Wii Fitness is an upcoming video game for the Wii video game console and it is a unique innovation of exergaming which was previously revealed under the code name Wii Health Pack. Exergaming as the name suggests is a term used for video games that also provide exercise. Exergames are sub divided into two main executions, one those with a game specifically designed to use an exercise input device and the other implementations using a genre of, or a generic game. The game is designed to function with the Wii Balance Board as a peripheral.
Nintendo Co Ltd has announced to launch this product of home fitness game in Japan in on Dec, 1. 2007. The Wii with its outstanding features offering easy-to-play but innovative games expanding the gaming population beyond young males to women and the elderly. Wii Fit was earlier revealed as Wii Health Pack which was then described as a "way to help get families exercising together. Keeping fit requires commitment.
