After touring the conurbation walls, head to the best shopping outlets in Chester's municipality centre.

Once you hit the local Chester pubs, you will find its people very endearing. With a people as jolly as theirs, even the taste of the food is carried away on top of an already delicious meal. One of the best restaurants in Chester is Ego. Ego was created in the centre of the metropolitan area, making it one of the hotspots for professionals and students. If you need to go Asian, the Siam restaurant in the city road may just do the job. Siam serves exotic Thai in hot and sizzling fashion. There is also a Japanese restaurant near Siam.

Chester's brand of entertainment resides in its festivals happening all year round. Each festival brings something to the table, and since the happenings are lined up throughout the year, there will be always something new that you will come back to. The Chester Races holds its event on the racecourse facing the river Dee. The horserace festival happens almost every month. Colourful kites fly atop the racecourse while the Chester kite festival. Here you can watch fliers perform kite acrobatics, synchronized flying, and altitude sprints. Chester also has a number of food and drink festivals that are scheduled in line with other festivities.

Only a few English towns can match Chester's past events. Once you find the place centre, bask in the museums, and delight in the shopping outlets, you will be impressed with what Chester has to offer. Chester is perfect for single-day holiday trips, as you can easily fill a day's itinerary with memorable events.
