I live in Florida and I was raised there too. You can't imagine how many disasters have visited our state so I have many document drying adventures. Just when I think a disaster will never strike again, it does. It seems disasters are happening all the time. When I first got my company established, a big storm swept over us and damaged everything I owned. I did not know what to do. I did not know about document drying or anything. Do you know what I did? I simply picked up all those documents that were destroyed and through them away. Honestly, at the time, it seemed as if the documents were not retrievable. I mean, here was a piece of paper that you could barely even read.



A couple of months after I threw my documents out I over heard someone talking about their document drying process. I kindly asked the individual who was talking about their document drying process exactly what document drying was. They stated that their documents had been ruined from the storm that swept through Florida a couple of months ago so they restored them all with the process of document drying. When I heard these words, my heart sunk and all I could say to the individual was "your kidding me."

I don't know what was the worse part, the fact that I was embarrassed for throwing all of those documents out or the fact that I had to start my business over because I through those documents out. That night, I went home and started looking up document drying. I then came face to face with a number of different document drying companies. It seemed that document drying was very popular, yet, I had never heard of it. Now, every time I get the chance, I am sure to tell individuals about the process of document drying. I hope I save someone from loosing their documents just as someone helped me.

A couple of years ago another storm hit us. This time, I honestly thought I had all of my documents in a safe place but I was wrong. I basically went through the same thing as I had gone through the first time. Except there was one difference and that was the fact that I knew just what to do. I immediately called the number to the document drying company that I had saved in my cell phone. I must tell you that the document drying company I contacted was very friendly. It seems they were very experienced because they knew just what to do with the documents. The document drying company arrived at my office in no time to assist me with my documents.

The process of having my document dried for me took a total of four days but the days it took did not bother me. All I can say is that document drying saved me and I will never have to worry about loosing a document again.
