Because you have a lot of people promoting your product, it will now also be seen as a popularproduct. This also adds to your sales. It is a sort of viral effect. You may have to share 50% of the sales with your affiliates, but you will still end up making good money.



If you decided you didn't want to bother with affiliates here is what it could be like. You have a big list of e-mails subscribers, let's say 100,000. You send out your promotion to the list, and you have a conversion rate of 0.04%. This means that you have made about 400 sales.

Now we will carry us a little bit further. You decided you also wanted to use affiliates to promote this product. With 100 affiliates selling 10 products each, you have just sold a further 1000 copies of your product. Even though you now share 50% of the profit with your affiliates. You still end up making far more money with far less effort.

So if you are selling a product that you own. You really need to sell it by using an affiliate program. How do you set up an affiliate program? Well you could buy software to run an affiliate program. This is what I have done personally. I use a program called Jam from Jrox.com and have found this easy-to-use and very powerful.

There is another way in which you don't need to buy software or install a script and that is by using ClickBank. For many affiliates this is the preferred way. To join ClickBank as an affiliate is free of charge. To become a seller on ClickBank costs very little.

As I mentioned earlier affiliates love ClickBank, because they are assured of payments. But for you as the seller it also has a great advantage. ClickBank recruits the affiliates. ClickBank pays the affiliates. So the money you get from ClickBank is yours. Your affiliates have already been paid. All the administration headaches are handled by ClickBank, and not you.

From this it is easy to see that to be successful in marketing your products on the Internet, you must use affiliates. The two affiliate programs that I have mentioned are both very good. But I must say that ClickBank is the easiest, as all the administration is handled by them. The small commission that you pay is well worth the less hassles.
