Air traveling is one of the way by which travelers are transported from one place to other with the help of an airplane. Many factors and parameters are included in the air travel consisting of airport, different travel class and several airlines for the travel. There are usually two or four travel classes in an airplane. The two classes are generally found in the national flights which are known as business class cabin and economy class cabin. For long haul flights or international airplanes there are four different classes for the passengers such as premium economy class cabin, club class cabin, first class cabin and a business class cabin.



Though there is substantial difference involved in the economy and premium economy class tickets, you would not find a great alteration in the tickets of a premium economy when purchased. However, the cost difference between the first class and economy class tickets is very high, where the first class tickets are expensive in the list. Whatever may be the class journey you choose, you have to begin and end the air travel from a commercial airport. The passenger has to go through certain procedures such as security checking of the passenger and his luggage at the entrance gate, border control check, flying, boarding, luggage pick up and again control check-in at the destination in case it is an international flight.

Airport is nothing but the service that is seen in the service counter at the commercial airports to handle the commercial form of traveling. There are handling agents or else an airline to handle the check in services on behalf of the airline. Passengers have to hand over their luggage which they are not supposed to carry with themselves after which they get boarding card in order to proceed to the aircraft board.

The first formality that a passenger has to follow is to check-in when he first arrives in the airport. As per the airline rules and regulations the passenger has to arrive at the airport at a particular time before the departure of the airport. In the duration before the flight departure the passenger and his luggage has to go through certain security checking. In many airlines the passenger has to arrive at least two hours before the departure schedule. At the time the passenger could also ask for some special accommodations such preference to seating order, changing in the reservations or could pay for the upgrades in the flight. The basic function of the airline check in is to which luggage the passenger wants to carry with him or leave with the cargo hold of the aircraft.
