One thing that NFL players must keep in mind is that when they sign that large contract to play for the National Football League, they in a way agree to allow the public to know all of their personal business. Of course the player may not even think about this, or may feel that maybe the public wouldn't be interested in his personal business, but if he feels this way, then he's sadly mistaken.
NFL players all have many loyal fans. Some fans work hard to find out every thing there is to know about that particular player. They read gossip magazines, look through numerous websites, and some even look for chances to go through the player's trash at the player's home. This may be pretty meddlesome as well as a little obsessive, but unfortunately, many people become this way. Even some of the gossip magazine employees will go through the player's trash, looking for even meaningless things to publicize and misconstrue to the public. This is a very unfortunate and negative part of becoming an NFL player. Fortunately, most of the pro ball players are able to completely prevent this type of thing from happening.
What professional football players can't avoid, unfortunately, is that when something does happen in their private lives, it will become public news. Even if the player works very hard to keep the news under wraps, it will eventually find a way of leaking out. Some news, such as engagements, weddings or the birth of a child may be the type of news that NFL players don't mind the public knowing. They may even report it directly to the news/magazines them selves, because they are proud.
Much to NFL players' dismay, if they happen to be arrested, get a divorce, or are involved in something else negative, the media will literally go nuts trying to get all the details of the incident so they can immediately report it to the public. This can cause anger, frustration, and especially embarrassment. These types of incidents are very painful and personal, and it only intensifies that pain when the media starts publicizing all of their affairs.
NFL players may not like having their private affairs publicized, but once they agree to become ‘sports celebrities', they are silently agreeing that it's okay for this to happen.
All The Nfl Players
Stupid crimes are committed routinely by NFL players as you can check on in the arrest wires. Although these guys earnings run into millions of dollars, they can't live like normal, responsible citizens. For some it's cost them public humiliation and maybe a short suspension. By their self-serving behavior, others have had their entire careers ruined. Let's countdown the 5 NFL players showing the dumbest behavior of the last year or two. While the likes of Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson have certainly proven themselves to be incapable of normal human behavior, this list will only include those with actual legal problems off the field.
5. Tank Johnson ? Tank Johnson got arrested a number of times, which led to his being waived by the Chicago Bears and being suspended for half a season. While at a nightclub, he experienced a run-in with the law and was placed under arrest. He was then charged with possession of a weapon, the weapon being a handgun. Tank was then charged for aggravated assault after a dustup with a police office outside of a ? you guessed it ? nightclub. Next, Tank got arrested for having assault rifles and other unlicensed weapons. Being nicknamed Tank does not mean you must arm yourself as if you really were one! Finally, Johnson got a speeding ticket, while being mildly impaired and the Bears let him go. The Cowboys picked him up following his suspension.
4. Cederic Benson - He is the second Chicago Bear to be listed and the Bears released him right after his second arrest in 2008. This is a former first round running back that is now without a job in the NFL. How can he regain his reputations when boating while intoxicated was his first arrest? He drives under the influence, ending up with a DUI. His Bears teammate committed more crimes, but he has the talent to find a new job. Sadly, a skilled NFL player will be able to earn money no matter what charges they might face.
3. Chris Henry: he made a name for himself in the arrest logs. The past Cincinnati Bengals football player was arrested five times in the past two and a half years for driving under the influence, firearm charges, and having weed. After yet more tangles with the legal system, he was first suspended, missed half of the 2007 season, and then finally cut from the Bengals. Chris Henry always finds the crime and has a knack for getting caught. He has been taken down by more cops than opposing players during the previous 3 years.
2. Pacman Jones - He would top the list but he is still under contract with an NFL team so he will be allowed to play again. Pacman got into one problem after another, one of which was a deadly shooting in a nightclub. He then tried to show NFL commissioner Roger Goodell that he was reformed by showing up late to their meeting, having lost track of time at the local strip club, the very type of establishment he was not supposed to visit. But as we can see from this list, talent trumps trouble, and if you're a good enough player, you'll get another chance. Furthermore, who do you assume made the choice to give Pacman (Only Adam) one more shot? The Dallas Cowboys, in part from the counsel of their troubled former superstar, Michael Irvin.
1. Michael Vick - Any one who follows NFL would know that Michael Vick would be chosen as the stupidest NFL player. It is this way because, though he was part of fewer legal incidents than others on the list, he's the only one who has to serve a multi-year sentence in prison. In addition, since he was Michael Vick, franchise player and superstar, he stood to lose the most, and he lost all of it. The public was outraged and certainly let him know it after his arrest for dog fighting, totally ruining his reputation. He lost his NFL career and tens of millions of dollars, along with several years of his free life. Michael Vick, congratulations on the number one spot.
There are your five dumbest NFL players of the last several seasons. These guys have shown themselves to be superior to a very deep and tough field, with hundreds of potential candidates.

Alternative Rock Songs List I love this song strictly as it points out all the flaws of the normal society and brings the loners to the front. Besides that, you gotta love Papa Roach!
