Insurance and certain assistance programs are available and can help with the costs, but, the truth is, most families don't have the money it takes to allow their loved ones the privilege of being at one of these homes.

For these families, Alzheimer's care must begin and end at home, but it is a very difficult task even for the most educated, patient, and able-bodied person. Alzheimer's disease causes people to do things they normally wouldn't do if they didn't have the disease.
