Today medical science is developing at such a pace that drugs for almost every disease and trouble are being invented. Whatever the price, medicines are available for all kind of diseases. Recently, Acomplia, which is better known as rimonabant, a Sanofi- Aventis anti obesity drug has been diagnosed with a side effect that is an ailment in itself, and a very dangerous side effect at that. This drug to cure obesity was seen to induce suicidal tendencies in people who were under the consumption of this drug.

Now the matter is that, this is not a very happy state of affairs. One cannot bear to have another dangerous disease in the process of curing one. Depression is a very complex disease. Many a times the patient himself is not aware of the fact that he is actually having the disease, leave alone the family members or others around him! The procedure of curing depression is also very complicated but the treatments are diverse. The depression resulting as a side effect of another drug may be quite different from the ones that attack a person under different circumstances. It becomes difficult for the physician to treat this kind of depression. Several considerations are taken into account. If the person is given some form of depression pill, special attention has to be paid to the fact that the depression drug doesn't interact with any of the other drugs that the person is having.

However, getting depression in the process of curing some other disease is a very bad bargain. Depression being the kind of disease it is, should not be attained just like that. So whenever you are having a drug make sure you do not get depression or for that matter any other disease. There are cures like for depression but it is strictly a prescription drug, so have it only if the doctor gives you a , otherwise not. After the prescription is attained, you can . But the prescription is very necessary otherwise there are chances of getting some other problem while treating your depression.
