1. Consider putting a photo of a person on the cover of your brochure.



In addition to having one or two lines describing what’s inside your brochure printing piece, include a photo of a person that you can highlight to talk about the benefits of doing business with you. The person can be the owner, a spokesperson, a loyal client, and even an expert in your business niche.

2 .Consider integrating a summary of your sales pitch on the front side cover. Use bold and easy-to-read copy for your summary that will highlight what’s good inside. Not only should your promotional brochures tell your readers the benefits of your business, it should more importantly tell your readers what you want them to do after reading your collateral. Studies show that people always want to read the answer to a question no matter what topic it is. Period.

5. Consider displaying prominently your name and return address, and most importantly, your contact numbers. This is for a quick and easy way for your readers to respond to your brochures.

6. Consider doing your brochure design and layout like that of a magazine. When designing your print brochures, make sure that you give your readers something to think about. Don’t give them a reason to dump your print materials in the trash can. When you talk about topics that matter to your target readers, your chances of success would most likely increase.

7. Consider using photos and images that are necessary to your brochures, and not just for the sake of giving your print materials a more aesthetic appearance. Think of how your illustrations are important to interpret your message.
