Cole affirmed he is just waiting for another successfully season to regain the Premiership. The new contract will run until 2008. Actually, the Arsenal said they are looking to integrate Cole to the club's challenge in the next season.



The soccer player didn't agree since the Arsenal was not able to cover his demands as the player was requesting ?60,000 a week, the club can not offer more than ?55,000 a week. But his salary is now set to ?70,000 a week.

The future of the player will be clear before Thursday's Champions League registration deadline, but the player have trained without any of his teammates since they are in a tour in Austria.

David Dein who is the vice-chairman confirmed that Cole will remain with the Arsenal unless something changes.

Unquestionably, the situation with the Chelsea and the bad moments Cole has had with the Arsenal has made the relationship between Cole and the club more difficult but is hasn't been an obstacle for him to want this next season to be better than ever.
