Bass fishing can be the most interesting when it is concentrated around some farm ponds. Farm pond bass are not at all different from lake bass. These ponds are not supposed to encounter heavy fishing pressures and so the bass here can grow really big and of course a bit violent. But these challenges are all the spirit of fishing! It will never be a bad deal. Through out the year farm pond bass live in shallow waters which will make our task pretty easier. This doesn't mean that they will not go to deep waters. prove troublesome to spot bass in a pond. Weeded areas and lily pads are more likely to be the abode of bass; that too in groups. There are some hotspots like a shallow pocket which the bass fill find easier to trap its bait fish; small creeks, ditches, culverts, shoreline vegetation and even in the shadows of those trees on the shore which cast shadow over the pond thereby providing the bass with somewhat cool waters.
