Beauty Secrets From Around The World

    View:
There's no secret that women all over use a variety of products to keep their beauty. Across cultures, eras and continents beauty secrets from the highest royal to the lowliest commoner have been passed on from generations to generations. Natural measures do not seem so prevalent in the West though where women prefer the knife, injecting botox and liposuction to enhance their beauty. Natural health and beauty secrets are all around us and have no risks attached, so why aren't Western women using them?

Some natural beauty secrets are so close by we overlook them, water is probably the best known. Water doesn't just hydrate the skin and quench the thirst; it cleans out the impurities caused by poor diet and pollution. Unfortunately, today's world is full of pollution and our skin absorbs this, so drinking plenty of water is an excellent way to flush it out.

Fruit and vegetables are another great healthy source of vitamins and minerals to help keep us healthy. It's amazing how much goodness there is in fruit and vegetables and all of it necessary for a healthy life. Carrot, orange, cucumber and apple juices are fantastic beauty secrets by being excellent rejuvenators of skin, hair and nails.

Another beauty secret is exercise, it's inexpensive and the results can be astounding including an increased oxygen level in the blood. Your overall health can be very quickly improved not just by walking; running, cycling or swimming are also good, plus they improve skin tone at very little or no financial cost. There are other benefits too such as burning calories faster, removing toxins from your system and digesting food for instance.

Keeping fit also raises positive energy levels and lifts the mood. Looking younger is another by product of this, happiness. Having a positive mental outlook is a beauty secret that has been shown to improve the body's immune system and increase longevity.

Everyone knows just how good you feel when you have bathed or showered so you should do this regularly as it invigorates the mind and body. It is ideal as a refresher in the morning or as a relaxant in the evening and an ideal way to prepare for sleep. A good night's sleep puts a bounce in your step as your body feels re-energised.

We must all know by now the harm excessive exposure to the sun can do but too little sun can have a similar effect because it is a source of vitamin D and energy bringing health to the skin, bones and nails. So if you are lucky enough to live in a sun drenched country, remember to keep applying that sunscreen as it's a beauty secret that will keep your skin looking young for many years. The skin can heal itself from many ailments but the suns strong UV rays cause it stress that nothing short of surgery can repair.

It is not often mentioned because we do not always see the real benefits of them but strong, meaningful relationships are probably the most crucial of beauty secrets. We are not very good at living our lives totally on our own other than for short periods as it tends to cause sickness and ill health. They may sometimes get on your nerves but your loved ones have a healing and calming effect when you are sad or unwell. They accept you for who you are, and no beauty secrets in the world can help you do that more than they can.
Beauty Secrets From Around The World
Everyone has a few beauty secrets that they've gotten from friends and family. Discove the key to glowing and healthy skin, whether you are a teenager or a grandmother. You do not need make-up to be beautiful. Collins English Dictionary says beauty is the combination of all the qualities of a person or thing that delight the senses and please the mind - a defination that potrays beauty as an incredibly subjective quality. Here are some of them:

Just mash half an avocado and spread evenly on your clean face. Allow to remain for 15 minutes, then rinse off with warm water. This is best for dry skin types.

To remove discoloration from elbows - rub a lemon half on them. Lemon juice is a good bleaching agent and its safe too. Try lemon juice mix with same proportion of glycerine.use this mixture daily, do not miss even one day,you will get a fair skin, and a glowing one as well.

To keep makeup looking fresh - After applying makeup, spray mineral water on your face and let dry. Do not wipe. Makeup will stay looking fresh longer. To lighten age spots and sun-damaged skin, mix the juice of 1 lemon, 1 lime, 2 tablespoons of honey, and 2 ounces of plain yogurt. Gently massage into each spot. Use at least once a week.

Turns out we've been throwing away (or composting) a valuable part of the avocado!! You can use the inside of the peel as a fabulous humectant and oil-rich moisturizer. Just lightly apply the inside of the peel to your clean face, using gentle upward strokes. You can leave the oil on your face all night or rinse after 15 minutes. Makes a great foundation for your foundation or powder!

Squeeze the juice from an orange, then strain the pulp; using your fingers, pat the liquid on your face. The juice will evaporate quickly and leave you with a radiant glow. Plus you'll have the benefits of the antioxidant vitamin C.

Swipe Chapstick on your cuticles to keep them hydrated.

Mix 1/2 cup warm water with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Using a cotton ball, apply directly to blemish. Maintain pressure with cotton ball for several minutes, to soften blemish. Using a cotton swab, dab honey on blemish; leave on 10 minutes. Rinse and pat dry.

Prevent ingrown hairs by dabbing on witch hazel after shaving or waxing.

Crush a few uncoated asprin in between 2 spoons. Mix it with a tiny bit of water to make it a paste. Use it as a mask over blemishes and they will be gone the next morning! Also, it will even out your skin tone!

Try the juice of a fresh citrus fruit if you want an astringent otherwise simply tap water alone regularly may eventually allow your skin to find equilibrium as the more you dry your skin the more oil it may produce. Unfortunately it's your endocrine system that has a big influence on your skin and we have limited control over that.

Mash a ripe mango with one tablespoon plain yogurt. Add 2 egg yolks and blend. Work the mix into your hair, then cover your head with a shower cap and leave in place 20 minutes. Shampoo thoroughly. It's the ultimate hair conditioner!
