Based on the number of searches on the net, colon cleansing has become very popular.
Though the ideas are spreading, many in the mainstream have no experience with it. One person told me it made her think of a colonoscopy.
Whether you go the full route of colonics or take cleansing products, it's a totally different thing.
Let's move on to the top 5 benefits of a colon cleanse I personally experienced:
1 -- I first noticed what was missing: the headaches that were a constant part of my life. I continued eating a mostly raw vegan nutrition diet so they stayed away. Whenever I went off it, I found they would come back again.
2 -- Another major benefit was the phlegm and runny nose were gone. I love breathing fresh air.
3 -- Along with the headaches, I would have an energy crash sometimes in the morning, almost always in the mid-afternoon. That too is gone and I can work late hours if I choose.
4 -- Weight loss of 40 pounds that have stayed off was a tremendous benefit. My body has found its way back to my ideal weight.
5 -- The total surprise was the clarity in my mind. Not only the fogginess, but forgetting things has become a thing of the past.
These are just a few of the many benefits that have literally changed my life. To me, living without great health is no way to live at all.
The benefits of colon cleansing and a raw vegan nutrition diet have changed the way I experience each day.
Because I adopted the raw vegan lifestyle together with colon cleansing, the benefits I enjoyed were clearly from the two together.
Stop adding new toxins if you want to do a cleanse. As you give the tools to your body, it will take you on a healing journey.
When we just get out of the way, our amazing bodies know what to do. Each of the trillions of cells has its own intelligence.
Benefits Of Colon Cleansing
Kevin: Right and what are the type of research that you know of that supports colon cleansing, that supports bowel health?
Buck: If you look at the books on the topic, for example, I have a good book called internal cleansing by Linda Barry. I have, yes, I recommend the Dr. Jensen's ?Better Bowel Care?. There are a lot of references in there. It's hard to say specific hard and fast research that, if you're thinking clinical studies and things like that there's a lot of anecdotal evidence around these things and there's evidence based on the feedback that we're getting back from our clients that I can point to.
Kevin: Probably some of the best evidence out there, right?
Buck: Yes, I think intuitively people realize that most of us, when we wake up in the morning, we brush our teeth. You know, we jump in the shower and we shower off the grime and sweat and what have you and then we wash our hair and we spend time grooming ourselves and while we do that we're basically eliminating some of the, well, we've excreted some toxins, right, through the night or during the course of the day or what have you and we want to, because it smells bad we like to bathe and be good citizens that way and because our bowel is inside of us and yes we can go use the bathroom and then close the door and no one has to know about, but we tend to neglect it and ignore it, but we should be treating it with the same reverence and that we do when we get up in the morning and brush our teeth and take a shower.
Kevin: Sure and the difference between now, I guess the challenges that we face is because of the, those processed foods and some of the foods that we're eating. That's what's causing some of the impaction, correct?
Buck: That's absolutely right, so refined sugar or flour-based products, fast food
products, packaged foods, things like that, they have a tendency to move through the system much more slowly than if you are consuming high fiber, bulky fruits, vegetables and things that are not refined. One of the difficulties of this by having that sit in your digestive tract for long periods of time is that by the time it's getting ready to be eliminated basically you have concentrated toxins, if you will, your body has pulled out the nourishment from the food stuffs and what's left are the things that need to be eliminated and much of it toxic.
There's a lot of toxins in the foods that we consume and the products that we use and your body needs to eliminate, but by having it sit inside your digestive tract for long periods of time because you're constipated, because you're having a bowel movement once a week instead of 3 times a day that, those toxins can seep through the bowel wall and go into the body and what happen is that manifests itself into things that you think are totally unrelated to your bowel. Migraine headaches, fibermyalgia-like pain, aches and pains, arthritic conditions. There's a whole series of other things that can be, can occur because of the toxins flowing through the body and much of that could be attributed to the toxins seeping through the bowel wall.
Kevin: Wow, it's just incredible how holistic it can be, you know?
Buck: Yes.
Kevin: Did you know all this when you started?
Buck: I didn't know all this. I was literally amazed by picking up the text on this and reading through it and actually seeing some pretty graphic photos of people that had A, what had come out of them during cleansing process and, B, the incredible impact it had on their skin, their hair, their general sense of wellbeing and amount of energy and I was like, ?This is an amazing secret. No one knows this.? But it's funny when we talk to our customers and people start to share it you think this is something no one wants to talk about.
The funny thing is that people, mostly women actually, love to talk about this and share this with their friends, but there's a lot of guys talking about it, too. You laugh about it like it's a funny topic, but it's true. Everyone that I've spoken to has been interested and said, ?Oh, can I get on the program?? Everyone wants to try it and wants to use it because you know many of us are not getting enough sleep, having some aches and pains, having low energy, eat refined foods. We know we need to eat better and would like to clean out our system and how long has it been? I'm forty-two, right? How much, how long has the average person been going without cleaning out their system? It's like getting a car and running it for fifty thousand miles before you do an oil change.
Kevin: Yes. Absolutely. I think what's great about this system and why people embrace it is because it's easy to do and why don't we just talk about what the components are, how you do it, and then we can just talk about the system and just give me the down and dirty on it.
Buck: Absolutely. Well, one important thing for me and working to get this formulated was making sure it was simple, that it was pleasant in terms of the consumption, how you consume it, that everyone could stay on the program, and that actually would be enjoyable and the way we've formulated this there's a fiber that you drink once in the morning. You can mix it with water, but some people prefer to mix it with juice. Sometimes like cranapple, one of my partners swears that cranapple is the best thing to mix with this. It tastes great. So you mix the fiber with cranapple and you consume also the anti-parasite support in the morning.
Kevin: Okay.
Buck: And then you just go about your normal workday or if you're retired, you're going to play a round of golf or whatever you're going to do. There's nothing else to do during the day. You basically, you could stay on the same foods that you normally eat, observe your normal regimen. The only thing that I would ask is to make sure that you drink enough water. You know, you do drink, we recommend 8 eight ounce glasses of water. You certainly don't want to overdo it, but you want to make sure that you're properly hydrated while you're on the program.
Kevin: Great.
Buck: And then in the evening, I would say thirty minutes before you eat dinner, I would recommend taking our probiotic and that will make sure that you know it's digested properly and deployed properly in the digestive tract. So that'd be thirty minutes before dinner and then before you go to bed take 2 or 3 minutes and brew yourself a very nice cup of our ultimate cleansing tea. It tastes great, people love it, I always get comments back from people about how good it tastes...
Kevin: Well, that's good. That's good news. Believe me.
Buck: Well, just, no one likes to drink stuff that doesn't taste good, but the tea is very, very pleasant. People really enjoy it and look forward to it and it'll help assist, it's synergistic with the fiber, so it helps to move the fiber through the digestive tract and it also helps you sleep better at night and this is based on evidence I'm getting back from all of the customers that they do sleep much better.
Kevin: Wow, that's great news.
Buck: That's it. I mean, there's nothing more complicated than that. It's easy to stay on the program for thirty days and again many people like to stay on it for sixty or ninety their first go-around.
Kevin: Wow. This is all great stuff. I'm excited to bring this to a lot of people. As I've been saying this entire call and I'm so excited to bring this to other people. You've got to start somewhere with your cleansing and colon cleansing is probably, and Buck if you'll agree with me, probably the easiest way to start.
