San Antonio is a wonderful city. The climate is mostly moderate making it ideal for most of the year. San Antonio is a city that loves to throw a party and have fun. It takes more than one visit to see and do everything.



If you love Tex-Mex food, then San Antonio is the place to be. You can get Mexican food day or night and basically on any corner in San Antonio. San Antonio also has plenty of other ethnic food types including American, French and Thai.

San Antonio has a hotel or motel for every pocket book. There are plenty of national chains and they are near all the major attractions including the Alamo. There are also plenty of luxury hotels and resorts if you want to be waited on hand and foot.

One of the main attractions in downtown is the Riverwalk. It is a lovely oasis in the middle of downtown. There are plenty to restaurants, shops and even a mall on the Riverwalk. You can either walk or take the water taxis that work along the river.

The Alamo is the most famous mission to see in San Antonio. It is right downtown by the riverwalk. There are also several missions to visit, the largest is Mission San Jose. It is south of downtown, but is definitely worth the trip to visit.

San Antonio also has two major theme parks, Sea World and Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Of the two my personal favorite is Sea World because we love the animal shows. Either is great family fun.

San Antonio loves its sports. The Spurs for basketball and the Missions, minor league, for baseball. San Antonio definitely loves its high school football as well as its AHL hockey team the Rampage. There is a sporting event for everyone's taste.

Something is always going on in San Antonio and it is a great city to visit. Come to San Antonio and join the fun. Let's have a fiesta!
