Two stars of ABC's Lost have called it quits after three years of being together. Evangeline Lilly, who plays Kate Austen and Dominic Monaghan, who plays Charlie Pace, reportedly have broken up. The New York Post reports that the 30-year-old English actor has let go of his relationship with Lilly, and has even found another woman, with whom he has once again found love.
Last Saturday, Monaghan was spotted crying, holding and kissing an unnamed woman at El Coyote restaurant in Los Angeles , California .
"They were right in the middle of the room, they weren't interested in privacy. They looked very intimate," said Entertainment blogger Nelson Aspen, who reported about Monaghan and his companion, who eventually left the restaurant together in a Toyota Prius. "They were nursing margaritas, leaning in, chain-smoking, [and] having intense conversation."
Despite the number of reports proliferating about their split, Lilly and Monaghan haven't made any official statements about this controversy. In fact, even during the beginnings of their relationship, which catapulted in the set of Lost, the two made a lot of effort to keep their relationship private. But despite being quiet about their affair, both made a few hints about their interest in each other. Lilly admitted that she was fascinated with men who are in touch with their feminine side, while Monaghan admitted that he is "metrosexual."
Last year, the couple decided to go public and tie the knot sometime in the summer of 2007, with the ceremony taking place in Hawaii . Monaghan often spoke about wanting to start a family, while Lilly was quite evasive about the relationship.
Monaghan is currently busy filming his upcoming movie entitled I Sell the Dead.
