Some people are of the idea that with the coming of old age, life takes a turn to that lane where everything is so lifeless and rotten. It is never that interesting as ones youth. In fact they almost take it as a curse. To some, old age brings about a fear, as that is one stage in life where they tend to feel completely helpless and totally dependent on their children. If the children are responsible and good, old age comes as a boon but misery strikes those, whose children take them to be nothing more than just a mere household waste, on whom they are spending their energy and money.



Everyone wishes to live their life with complete self esteem and never being dependent on any one. But there is never an end to their tears and misery when they realize that, after living their lives in the most respectable way, they end up being dependent in their old age and this state of dependency comes, not because of an outsider but at the hands of their awn children whom they loved and cared so much. This mostly happens with those old people, who from the very start have a fear about old age and loose all the enthusiasm towards life. Old age is never a curse on anyone. It all depends on an individual as to how they take it up. Some have a negative aspect towards old age and some take it positively. Old is yet another stage of life which has to be equally enjoyed as one enjoyed their youth and middle age. Old age might bring in a lot of ailments but an urge to live life in the best way is sure to push all hurdles aside. Its the will that matters and a way is sure to be there. If man plans to live life independently and happily, he should never be dependent on his own children too.

There are some tips for those old people who take their old age very positively:

Live your life as you have never lived before.

Leave aside all tensions about your children. You have done that, your whole life through and now it is time to live life for your self.

Be it picnics,discos or any kind of parties...do all that you have not done in your entire life due to your responsibilities.

Live life happily.

Old age has always been a curse for only those who have never seen it in any other way other than a curse.

But there are certain societies where there is a heavy pressure on the concept of aging. It is almost considered to be a shame to be old and to hide this, people land up buying costly beauty products and spend half of their days time, at parlors ans saloons. Such people can be called mere hypocrites who avoid this beautiful stage of life.

Old people who are not very confident of themselves and their old age are the ones who fall a prey to their irresponsible and very cruel children.

Education is said to make man, wise and sensible but there are very few cases where this has been proved true. Old age homes are increasing on an alarming rate and the noticeable part is that, it is mostly in the cities where very few uneducated people have set up their homes. Try to imagine a situation where you have been locked inside a room, and you have nobody around to help or share your misery and fear. A situation, where you have been completely neglected. You would end up feeling miserable. In fact life seems to be like a burden. So how does it feel when your old parents are left at the mercy of the old age homes, knowing the fact that their children, whom they took so much trouble to bring up, lives in the same city? No child will ever be able to answer this very easy question unless he/she passes this stage of life and has been betrayed by their own children.

But kudos to all those old people who live their old age as beautiful as their youth.
