In an effort to broaden the public's perception of its capabilities, the Institute has established blitranslations, a full-service division dedicated exclusively to translation, interpreting and desktop publishing.

The blitranslations division will facilitate continued growth while delivering the same high level of performance that clients have come to expect.

Translations: In order to ensure that translations are both accurate and appropriate, blitranslations uses only translators and editors with native fluency in the target language, expertise in the subject matter of the document and the years of professional experience. For technical documents, blitranslations taps into the database of language professionals who specialize in legal, medical, financial and most technological subjects.

Desktop Publishing: Translated documents are produced in a variety of formats and media. Because blitranslations has complete word-processing and desktop publishing facilities in-house, desktop publishers and production staff can provide text as hard copy and / or electronic file in most major word-processing and graphic applications, including Word for Macintosh or Windows, Word Perfect for Windows, Quark Xpress, Pagemaker and Powerpoint. Moreover, staff can also produce EPS files, PDF files, camera-ready copy on RC paper and color separation on film. They can also coordinate the film output and printing.

Interpreting: blitranslations provides professional interpreters for meetings, conferences, depositions, and trials, as well as industry-specific interpreting assignments. Both simultaneous and consecutive interpreting services are available. All interpreters have advanced education and/or professional training in the designated subject matter.

In addition to all of the above, blitranslations can provide voice-over talent and arrange a recording studio. Foreign language audio and video-tapes can also be transcribed and translated onto hard copy or electronic files.
