Big pearl, after the tapioca balls found in the drink, milk tea or pearl tea were some of the first names given to this tasty, rich drink. In the end the name that stuck to this drink was bubble tea or boba tea for short.

For those who want to enjoy the original taste of this crazy drink, there are still some places where the original recipe of the drink can be found with only minor alterations. Tapioca is still the main ingredient, mixed with sweetened tea, that can be either hot or iced and milk. If you want, various additional flavors can also be added.

The important thing that has not changed over the years is that bubble tea or boba tea is the same tasty, fun to make and drink beverage that everybody loved. Nothing essential has been changed because the success that it had was due to its original taste.
