Now obviously, there’s technically only one form of macro-nutrients known as carbohydrates, and in that category we can break it down into 2 sub-categories known as ’simple’ and ‘complex’ carbohydrates, but when thinking about developing ultimate health, fast fat-loss, or maximizing your metabolism - there’s really a much better way to think about carbohydrates.
Classification 1: Vegetables. This is the class of carbohydrates you should strive to choose from at all times, meaning that you really should have a serving of fresh, preferably raw, vegetables in almost every meal of the day.
Classification 2: Moderately processed carbohydrates like brown rice, whole grain pastas or breads, or other all-natural (organic) products. This class of carbohydrates could be added every once in awhile, assuming that the rest of your diet has been going pretty well so far - but add these sparingly to your diet because they come with none of the real health or weight loss benefits that the carbohydrates in Class 1 have.
Classification 3: Heavily processed carbohydrates like white bread, sugar products, cookies, cakes, etc - better known as ‘junk food’. This category of carbohydrates is the category to avoid if your goal is to lose weight and develop a tight, lean body without dieting too strictly.
Building A Lean Body
L-Glutamine is an important supplement in bodybuilding. It is an amino acid that increases muscle growth, minimizes the protein breakdown in muscles, burns fat, contains natural growth hormones, fuels the brain, increases mental awareness and alertness, kicks the immune system into high gear, and gets antioxidants started in the body. But, what are the effects glutamine-l side?
First note that anything in abundance is not necessarily good. Most people do not have any trouble at all with L-glutamine, but if you take too much, you could experience some side effects. The most common side effect, from too much use, is diarrhea, and continued use can prolong this side effect to the point where medical care is required.
Furthermore, it is important that you discuss taking l-glutamine with your doctor. If you are taking other supplements, the l-glutamine combined with it could cause other serious side effects, or health problems. It cannot be said enough…talk to your doctor! Also note that some people are just allergic to l-glutamine, and may have side effects that are not common to those who simply take too much of it.
With that said, if you have liver problems, or liver failure, you should never take l-glutamine. There has been research concerning l-glutamine and pregnancy, as well as breast feeding. But thus far, there have been no problems found with the consumption of l-glutamine while pregnant or breast feeding. However, there has not been enough research in these areas to fully determine that it is safe to consume l-glutamine while pregnant or breastfeeding. Again, talk to your doctor.
While there are some age limitations for other bodybuilding supplements, there is no age limitation for l-glutamine. Research has found that it is safe for all ages. However, young children may want to avoid l-glutamine, because it may not be determined that they have allergies or other health conditions that may result in a bad reaction to l-glutamine. Therefore, experts recommend that children under the age of 10 avoid l-glutamine supplements.
While there are no scientific side effects of normal dosages of l-glutamine, different people do have different reactions. Some people are energized, while others start feeling incredibly sleepy. Some will feel quite nervous, while others feel incredibly relaxed and have an overall sense of well-being. Some will wake up tired, while others will wake up feeling refreshed. You won't know how it affects you until you try it…and....Find out more on the website...
