Being able to play in the WSOP may be something that you can't imagine at this point in your poker career, but it doesn't always have to be so. A great place for improving your game may lie with the study of the other players at the table. Being the best player at the table is what you should be striving for and to do that you must get inside of your opponents head and know what they are going to do before they do.

Keep a watchful eye on all of the players around you. Study them and always be on the lookout for anything that could tip off what they might be thinking and what could possibly be their next move. After enough study and keeping a close enough eye on the people seated at the table with you it will almost be come instinct to judge what other players are doing or planning to do.

Don't be afraid to call down a losing hand once in awhile as this can be a very valuable tool for you to learn what your opponent is thinking and how they play certain hands. While this should never be made a practice that is used all the time it is also something that if you want to be a great player that you can just ignore.

When at a poker table you almost want to be in stealth mode. Stay under the radar. Don't say to much and don't draw any unwanted attention to yourself. Remember you are here to make money, playing for fun should not even be a thought. When you pull up your seat at the poker table you need to be in attack mode.

When playing a game of poker look for players who like to just call and check every hand. When you encounter one of these types of players do not give them any room to breathe. This type of player likes to play less then premium hands and if you do not attack them hard you run the risk of them out drawing you. Thereby giving away a hand and money that you could have won if you had just been aggressive with them.

Take these tips and try to work them into your current poker strategy. You should see a vast improvement on you poker skill set and thereby increasing your profits. Never stop working, never stop learning, and that WSOP champion bracelet should be just around the corner.
