During the community release of "CharlieOscarDelta" we noticed a lot of the forum was full of spamming, useless threads, repeated information, and more then my fill of "flamers". They took no consideration for the new posters, and thought because they had a high post count, they knew everything there was to know about well? Everything. The community managers; (don't get me wrong about Infinity Wards Community Manager fourzerotwo, great guy but well over stacked for his position) didn't do much to help out the community, protect their forums from disturbing material, and hateful posts around every thread.



When we saw this, we didn't even think twice about getting a good, steady Call of Duty 4 community onto the great WWW. We first opened with COD4Boards.com, learned a lot of information, got some (but not nearly enough) publicity on the forums, few active members, and a great start for what we were about to achieve. We saw www.COD4Forums.com posting a short while back (the domain we actually wanted prior to cod4boards.com but was taken) around n4g.com, and also on Google search engines, postings, etc. We knew they had a great name and great potential for the Call of Duty 4 community as they were our main competition in the market. We actually contacted the site owner Springer personally about selling the forum, and luckily enough he had it on bid at www.sitepoint.com. Anyways, long story short we had the highest bid, received the forum, did a bunch of upgrades, skin changes, reorganization, and some cool graphics. The site has now become a very popular identity in the Call of Duty 4 market.

We offer COD4Boards.com and COD4forum.com as a way for users to not only find loads of useful, and content rich information, but as well as a friendly environment for players of all ages to post, share thoughts, and speak out without having the hate of other forum members bashing them down every other post. Our forum has also other areas of interest from computing, graphics and media, as well as a remarkably large recruitment area for members to find teams, teams to find members, and teams to scrimmage teams.

We still have and keep COD4Boards.com up and running, although not as popular as COD4Forums.com, it is still updated constantly with the latest news, articles, and podcasts for Call of Duty 4. If you're in need of technical help or just want to chat, COD4Boards.com is a good alternative.
